Kuala Lumpur
29/09/2003
Wohoo, we have finally arrived at our first port of call, Kuala Lumpur, or as the locals like to call it KL. Flight from Heathrow was to say the least very interesting. As we took off Barney was already unconscious, dreaming about what was ahead (probably women - who said that?). Meanwhile, Eamonn sat uncomfortably in a seat that was way to small, but we got there in the end.

Hello from Down Under, we have finally arrived in the land of Kangaroos, Wallabies, Ex-Pats, and a selection of nearly every other nationality from around the world. We had a very delightful week of....eh....RAIN!!!! every day we had rain at some stage apart from Sunday, when it broke - Sun, aahhh bliss. So it was on with the shorts n' shades and the sun-cream and out into the city to look for a car. we didn't find anything yet, but picked up a lot of information about the whole car market here. Then you'll never guess - it RAINED AGAIN, this time with lightning and thunder. You can just picture it, two white Irish guys wandering round the outskirts of Sydney in shorts - it wasn't nice!!!

Our Stay In Melbourne
20/10/2003
Whoa what a week. Up there as being the best week of all our lives. We had 2 Irish games against Australia - the Compromise Rules and the Rugby World Cup. In addition to all that Niall (Barney's brother) arrived out to surprise us. So Melbourne ladies are not safe anymore as he has been up to his usual tricks - sampling many different varieties already. In Dubai airport Niall met up with 2 Cork lads - Michael and James, they are in some of the pictures also.
